AIC Corporation Berhad is an investment holding company. Through its subsidiaries, the Company operates in two business divisions. The Semiconductor Division is engaged in the development, procurement, sales, assembly and testing of integrated circuit chips and other semiconductor ancillary activities. The Precision Tooling and Automation Division, through Prodelcon Sdn. Bhd., is engaged in the manufacture of high-precision tooling, die-sets, semiconductor molds and parts, and high-precision components, jigs and fixtures, and the design and manufacture of turnkey automation systems. Prodelcon Sdn. Bhd. was acquired on August 20, 2008. In July 2009, the Company and its two of its wholly owned subsidiaries, AIC Inspirasi Sdn Bhd and Integral CAD Technologies Sdn Bhd had divested their entire interests in Inmode Venture Sdn Bhd (Inmode), Custom Tooling Holdings Sdn Bhd (CTH) and Cadxcel Sdn Bhd (Cadxcel), three wholly owned dormant subsidiaries.
