[TEBRAU] TEBRAU: THE BEST HAS YET TO COME


Johar, KPRJ's cheif executive told the StarBiz in July 2011 that Tebrau Teguh would benefit immensely from Iskandar Malaysia as its landbank was startegically located in the main growth nodes of the growth corridor. This company has 413.53ha of undeveloped land and 12km water frontage within the Tebrau-Plentong river basin developiment with a net book value of RM591.93 million.

Hello! Did u hear me right? if you can do simple arithmetic that land assets are valued at RM 13.30 psf. If you yourself own this land next to the RMB 13billion Danga Bay waterfront project (google IWH and DBSBs' website) wouldn't you want to sell more than what it is worth in the book value.

Also look at Ekovest and Knusfords' earnings for the last 4 quarters. Impressive isn't it. Can Lim do the same for Tebrau?

Hang in there the best has yet to come. We still have WAVE II and III. For those value seekers read the NEWS section on this website and do some fact findings. Now what do you think the right price should be for Tebrau. 76sen?

There was a research article back in early 2007, stating that should iskandar takes off, many of the listed Johor landowners will be worth several times more.

Property counter is no longer attractive.

Focus on Oil and Gas, and plantation counters.

Price will continue to go up until takeover completed. Buy on anticipation, sell on fact. Takeover offer price will accordingly be revised higher and higher as the price appreciates. Definitely a BUY below rm1.00.

trading actions last fri pm were not favaurable. it should have moved up past 0.85 but it didn't. this is not a good sign. will fall on T4 selling. get out with small losses while you can.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tebrau Teguh Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, Bayou Bay Development Sdn Bhd, has entered into two separate sale and purchase (S&P) deals with Delta Bestari Sdn Bhd and Northstar Frontier Sdn Bhd to dispose of a total 4.3ha commercial land in Johor for a combined RM28.3 million.

8.2 Earnings

The Proposed Disposal of Land 1 has been reflected in the financial statement for year ended 31 December 2011. The Proposed Disposal of Land 2 is expected to have a significant effect on TTB’s earnings for the financial year ending 31 December 2012. The earning is expected to increase by RM12.88 million in total resulting from the Proposed Disposal.

The lands were acquired indirectly through the acquisition of Bayou Bay Development Sdn Bhd on 16 April 2003 at a cost of RM12.16 million.

RNAV is $ 2.50 , but Iskandar Waterfront Holding want to take it private at $0.76?? No Way !!! Should got rejected . Buy with target at least $1.80

In 2008 This counter was trading as high as rm 2.00. Low debt and priced at 76sen. At 76 sen Ekovest is buying at a very steep discount. Now is 2012 so what price should it be? Anything lower than rm1.00 is a steal.

Since the market is always right. Let the market decide what price should Tebrau's intrinsic value be at tomorrow openings. Trending up and up or doing the reversal. If you taught it is risky to hold at 75cents then why is the insider (Ekovest) buying at 76sen. U mean they are that stupid?

Based on the 2010 Annual Report, SEE HOY CHAN Properties Sdn Berhad owns 0.29% of this stock.

Earnings of this counter may not be attractive but the strategic land banks over RM1.1 billion and low debts definitely will generate some interests among value investors . Anyone care to calculate the GDV of this assets?

Johoreans , have you heard of land price fetching at this kind of prices especially Tebrau Teguh owns so many prime locations?

So lets assume lands owned by Tebrau Teguh is conservatively priced at RM 25 per sqft. (http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?sec=business&file=/2011/5/7/business/8629523)

That’s a whopping RM 1.113 mio (44,512,386 sqft x RM25)

What about its DEBTS? (Balance Sheet Sep 30, 2011)
Short term borrowings RM 140,000
Long term borrowings RM 220,000

TOTAL BORROWINGS ONLY AT RM 360,000. ANY PROPERTY COMPANIES HAVE THIS KIND OF DEBT?

I THINK YOUR HOUSE MORTGAGE IS EVEN HIGHER THAN THIS. THIS COMPANY HAS A CASH and CASH EQUIVALENT OVER RM 44mio.
