[TWS] tws

helo any sifu ! can tws go any futher ? n what about genting ?
reply
Why do you interested into TWS?
reply
Because of low P/E and annualised eps is expected to hit more than RM1 per share. Also expecting bonus issue (if there is any) or share split.
reply
It's cheap in terms of valuation (PE around 5) as compare to IOI (PE:15+) & KLK (20++. Besides, it's paid up capital is relative small (around RM300million) while 90% of it's share are held by less than 100 shareholders. It's 3 core business (rice, sugar and palm oil) are all essential products. You shall not regret of buying this counter
reply
The only concern with TWS is the debt level. TWS is lacked of analysts coverage. Hope the analysts start to cover this stock after announcement of 4th qtr result.
reply
Not really a big concern as it's business are all cash-generating.I think you will see more coverage from analysts when it touches RM10 and above as I believe major shareholders are still accumnulating..
reply
Agree with you. Hope it is another PPB in the making. I think dividend also increased as compared to last few yrs if I am not mistaken.
reply
First interim div is RM0.20 as compare to Rm0.10 last year. Final div shall be higher as it's full year EPS could be 4 times (around RM1.60) as compare to last year (around RM0.40).Hopefully they will annouce a clear Div Policy.Lastly, hopefully Syed Mokhtar wouldn't privatise it.Good luck
reply
when i spot this counter on 22/11/10 it was only 3.95 today 11/2/11 it was 7+ .market drop it didn't affect much .it has only 296.470 mil shares only
reply
Tws price was being pressed down for accumulation?
reply
Not really pressing down that much as buyers' are waiting. RM7.50 support is there. Seems to be solid.
reply
Tws doesn't seem to be able to close above 7.60 for the past few days. Not sure is good or bad.
reply
Support at RM7.50 level.Awaiting Q4 result for it's next movement.
reply
I am confidently share it will definitely be a exellent result, so... should pick up before the announcement.
reply
Palm oil and rice divisions are doing well, hope sugar division will do well too.
reply
m sure it will do great, furthermore, TWS is abt the conquer the business fulfill any human being's needs. no one can live without TWS!
reply
It has finally stand above RM8 and should be heading towards the next target (RM10-RM12), fueled by it's best ever Q4 result soon.
reply
If market continue to fall, I worry RM8 cannot stand
reply
May be. Anyway you shall be happier to buy at lower price then. C how low it can go.
reply
btw, mind to share r u all holding tws? and how many? m confidently holding 50k shares as i see its potential.
reply
50K TWS, that would come to a value of around RM400K. Orang Kaya
reply
thats not the point, its all abt the confidence level.
reply
Confidence level is as high as you. However, cash level is pretty much lower than you
reply
Mind to share your confidence level in term figures....percentage value of TWS represents in your portfolio. :)
reply
Friend, any idea what is the fair P/E to evaluate TWS?
reply
About 30% of my portfolio. I think one day TWS will be recognised by the market and by then it deserves a PE valuation of 10-15, just like PPB,KLK or IOI, as long as S.Mokhtar doesn't do funny things with it...You have to watch it closely..
reply
For all supporters of TWS, appreciate if you could disclose your confidence level in terms of percentage value of TWS in your total portfolio.TQ..
reply
100% because i don't like to diversify. It is either I make it or break it.
reply
What if price goes lower, in view of the rather bearish market sentiment...Would you prepare to buy more at lower prices then?If yes, what will be your TP to buy?
reply
Ha.ha..no because out of fund.
reply
ya, i like ur statement! if go then we go 100%! If do then do BIG!
reply
Currently, TWS accounts for 40% of my portfolio. Hope its sugar business did well. Do you think it would benefit from soaring of world sugar price?
reply
I think it will benefit more from BN's policy. If BN government is taking away the sugar subsidy phase by phase in near term, TWS will make more...
reply
Dear all, mind to share your holding cost of TWS? My is around RM5.50.
reply
My average costs was 5.25. It seems the market sentiment affected by middle east tension. Profit taking activities may happen in near term. Watch out.
reply
Agreed. TWS is more on a long term investment (3-5 years). Will be happier if could buy lower at RM6 or less if there is a sharp correction. My main concern is on S.Mokhtar...
reply
Very impressive quarterly results but not announcing in the right timing. It would have shot up RM 10 if the annoucement made one month ago.Sigh....
reply
Shared your opinion. Anyway, it's just a matter of time before it touch so. This year's (2011) EPS shall be as good as 2010. You shall be glad that you are still able to buy now before it shoots up to RM10
reply
whatever it is, people still need to eat and drink
reply
hmm... gd statement... unless world population decreasing...
reply
Full year EPS RM1.65.
reply
Noted that cash reduce from RM606M (30 Sep) to 233M (31 Dec) while deposit with bank increased by RM130M. Is it due to acquiring of some business which contributes to the increase of intangible asset (goodwill) of around RM216M?
reply
Good result did not help much nowaday. TWS seems to be going downtrend.
reply
Is someone preventing the price to go up? Or is it in accumulation mode?
reply
Support is at RM8.00 level. At this level, I don't think that many retailers are keen to buy.
Just ask yourselve: at RM8, PE around 5 and DY around 5-6% (assuming they declare a final div of RM0.20-RM0.30, thus making a total div of RM0.40 to RM0.50 for this year), is it a good buy? Besides, can their business model be substainable in years to come?
reply
If retailers are not keen to buy then we need fund managers to push up the price. Something to share, this might indirectly benefit to TWS bottomline in future. http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/features/182138-corporate-bernas-sitting-on-undervalued-inventory.html
