[OTHERS] Are SEA countries like Indonesia and Malaysia part of the infamous ancient Islamic slave-trade network?

I wouldn’t say there was no trade in humans, especially women, but it was not the source of most of the wealth generated in the Southeast Asian markets.

Spices were the vast bulk of this trade and made many a foreigner, from Chinese to Arabs to Europeans rich.

The Arab slave trade tended, like its European counterpart, to be based on coastal African trade. While the bulk of European slave trading occurred on the Atlantic shores of West Africa, much of the Muslim trade occurred on the Swahili Coast along the Indian Ocean shores of Africa.
