To make this site even more attractive, is it possible to have a moving average overlay on volume chart?

by adding MA to volume, so that we can see it more clearly when the volume increase/decrease in number of days.

Similar to what luckybee said. It is just one method to measure the volume.

Consider this example:
When someone says "the volume is great in this breakout move", how can we really tell? Plotting an MA, typically 50d sma is a simple way to tell if the move has been accompanied by volume higher than the past 50d average volume.

MA on volume is a simple and effective way to look at volume, especially useful when studying consolidation and breakout moves.

This is a technical site.
And volume is of paramount important.
You need to study volume play together with other technical indicators such as head & shoulder, triangle or whatsoever.
For example, a typical head & shoulder formation can not be confirmed by meagre volume.

We just added the SMA 50.

Sorry about the confusion. The SMA was added only in the prediction chart, we are still working on the main TA chart.
