Bollinger bands: A widely used technical analysis indicator developed by John Bollinger. This indicator is constructed by plotting a band two standard deviations above and below a 20 period moving average. Prices will often meet resistance at the upper band whereas the lower band often provides support. Since standard deviation is the measure of volatility, the contraction of the bands often also provides an early indication of an increase in volatility soon.

Bollinger band width: Measures the width of the Bollinger bands.

Breakaway gap: A price gap that is formed following a completion of an important continuation or reversal formation. If the price has gapped upward, it is often a bullish signal whereas if the price has gapped downward, it is often a bearish signal.

Bursa Malaysia: Bursa Malaysia, the official stock exchange of Malaysia, came into existence in 2004 following the demutualisation exercise of KLSE. It consists of the Main Board, Second Board and the MESDAQ.
