hmmm... i can't guarantee it but from the shareholding lists and its board composition, it doesn't seem to be politically connected nor does it depend on the political scenario's for its biz (except imho, for Indonesia). Hence, yes, imho, i think TSH can manage to weather the coming election. However, having said that, all stocks irrespective of its "connectivity" or not will always be subjected to "market forces" in turbulent times when the severe political changes happen due to fear factor. There will always be a seller whoo fears such events and there will always be a buyer who takes advantage of such opportunities. Therefore, you have to look at it based on your own risk appetite. Like I said, I'm into this stock for the long term and since my entry cost is much cheaper, I have a much lower cut-loss price tolerance to weather "temporary" turbulent times. In fact, I would also look at it as another buying opportunity. cheers.

thanks bro.. you too. I'll take a bite on your msniaga choice. looks good to me. armada.. wait for 2nd wave. i guess it will seek support @ RM4.25 to RM4.30 level before next level RM4.50. mbl - perhaps sold to soon @ RM0.80, never expected it to climb to RM0.90 level. dialog - wow this one we probably can talk a whole night about it, but to cut it short... imho, i feel that the market is waiting for them to deliver on their results based on what they already have on their plate which would be sometime in May. In between this, there will the usual contracts wins, and perhaps there will be some award on additional RSC contracts under the ETP which I believe Dialog will be a beneficial party. well... that's what i thin anyway.. if i'm right all the time, you'd probably see my name in Forbes Malaysia top 1000 list... cheers.

BI... your caveat emptor not so chun le.. "This prediction should not be construed as an advice to buy/sell any stock, but is merely an opinion of the writer". mine better... like this.. NOTE: The above opinion is my market tok-kok provided as general info only as a tok-kok conversation in a bar or in the sauna, and should not be taken as investment advice, definitely not an invitation to buy or sell. Its just my investing thoughts & ideas which does not represent an investment advisory service as I charge no subscription or management fees like the pro’s do, but beer donations are welcomed though, if you do make profit from it. KNN….consult your investment adviser before making any investment decisions, ok. he..he..he.. cheers.

Commetted on EAH above $0.26 by 31-Dec-2012
The warrant is actually out-of-money currently with its exercise price set at RM0.40. Frankly, I'm not an expert in TA, but form the little knowledge I have on the matter, I think EAH has a support level at RM0.19 with its resistance a RM0.23. You have to be patient with this counter, just like Dialog & TSH. cheers.

sorry.. NTA is RM4.55; FYE 2011 EPS=RM0.4977 @ RM5.20, PE=10.5X. Risky but have potential to move to RM5.40 to account for Hirotako contribution. cheers.

Cont'd... What We Think We remain optimistic about Bumi’s prospects. The company is in a sweet spot as the FPSO supply-demand imbalance is in its favour. Our forecasts of all-time high earnings in FY12-13 are driven by four new FPSO contracts and do not factor in the St.Joseph project, which could be worth RM300m-500m. What You Should Do We advise investors to accumulate ahead of the release of the 4Q results. Earnings visibility is good given the long-term nature of FPSO contracts. Bumi is backed by a RM7bn order book, of which around 70% comes from FPSO operations. The company has extension options worth RM3bn. Bumi plans to unveil its strategy for oilfield services by end-Mar. Looks like its on track... cheers.

UPDATE: Nice to note that CIMB analyst Norziana Mohd Inon on 20.02.2012 echo the same view... Going swimmingly Bumi is set to make waves when it reports an anticipated 4Q11 net profit of around RM140m, which implies robust qoq growth of 50% and a record net profit of RM379m for FY11. Separately, we learned that the company is the sole bidder for Shell’s St. Joseph CEOR project. We continue to value Bumi at 17.6x CY13 P/E, 40% premium over our target market P/E. We forecast new net profit highs in FY12-13, leading to a 3-year EPS CAGR of 30.8%. A potentially strong 4Q performance and order book expansion support our Outperform call. ....cont'd

Amprop should be releasing their Q3 results within this 2 weeks. Guesstimate: Q3 - RM20mil (YTD 9mths: RM94mil) EPS - RM0.165 (Annualised EPS~RM0.22) @RM0.48, PE=2.1X (even at a low 3X PE. TP=RM0.66) Looks like their London property deals are money-making, hence i won't be surprised to see disposals of the earlier acquisition & using the funds generated to make further acquisitions. Likely to see dividend payout announcement after their Q4 results in May 2012, should be better than RM0.03 declared previous year, but even then its still 6% yield @ RM0.50. cheers.
